Sometimes you come across something that rings so true that you can’t help but sit up and listen.
A year ago, while waiting for my takeaway coffee (on one of the days when our lovely machine had died!) I looked down and started reading the ripped out horoscopes that were pinned down on the bar.

If you set off travelling now and continue every day for the rest of your life, you’ll still visit only a fraction of the places on this planet. There’s so much to see and so many amazing alternatives, and the joy of it is, there are no real restrictions. Given all that, why are you where you are? Where are your plans for adventure? No matter what’s holding you back, you can leave it behind. Or you can take it with you.

If there’s something you want to do, why wait?
So many of us tend to put plans aside to somedays and onedays… but guaranteed, these days will never come! We will always manage to come up with excuses to put them off, or even self-sabotage our plans. It’s a fear of the unknown, and an unspoken condition that we must comply within societies boundaries. Get a job, buy a house, get married, pay your taxes, have a family, and then when and if you manage to make it to retirement, you’re so exhausted from the past 50years of your working life, that you’re too exhausted to do anything with the little superannuation you actually accumulated!
Live your life now. You’re not going to get a second chance at it. If you hate your job. Quit. Start worrying about what’s going to make you happy, and how you can live your best life.
We make our choices, so we’re the only ones that can be held responsible if we don’t achieve everything we want.
Life won’t wait for you xxx
