Although we’d been up far too early, we decided to head out into the rain & do some exploring
the public market was our first stop
we wandered down by the wharf for a bit, but our tummies were grumbling (Amtrak “breakfast bagels” are not fun…I swear that was not a real egg!) so it was back to the market to find some food!
Beecher’s make their own cheese, so their mac & cheese was kind of incredible!
See! A giant tub of cheese!
(it was actually kind of odd to watch…it’s not the prettiest sight to behold, plus a man in full waterproof clothing was in there raking it at one point! He kind of looked like he was going fishing…)
we found a great coffee shop close to our hotel
where we had deliciously strong latte’s
(I kind of wanted to drag all the furniture back home with me!)
then it was back to take photos of the market at night
(and some videos!)
Night night Seattle
We crossed the border into the USA very early this morning, winding via train past what can only be described as the most enchanting seaside towns on our way down to rainy Seattle. The train actually looked like it was gliding on water half the time – you couldn’t see the tracks!
Ace Hotel is serving as our home away from home during our stay here, & I can already see what all the hype is about! I’m crazy in love ❤ ❤
i want this chair! (even the Mister loves it!)
(note the creased sheets? It looked so comfy I just had to throw myself onto it…then I remembered that I wanted to take a picture! whoopsies!)
Oh Ace! I love you! ❤ ❤
